geelovestowrite: How long have you been an accountability writing coach?
Cheryl: For years, I have been helping writers to become first-time authors; however, my title just recently changed to Accountability Writing Coach.

geelovestowrite:  What does an accountability writing coach do?
CH:  I offer my clients insight and expertise, since I am an experienced and published author of several books and I am a writing teacher, who has presented writing workshops from the east coast to the west coast.

geelovestowrite:  What is the benefit of having a writing coach?
CH:  The main benefit is that it is a partnership. I will help the writer to identify their book dream. I will help the writer to meet their writing goals, both large and small. The writer will produce written pages and will begin book building. The writer will ultimately have a final product in their hand—a published book and they will go from a writer to an author. I help writers make their book dream come true. Together, we make their dream a reality.

geelovestowrite:  Explain all that you offer as a writing coach.
CH:  I help the writer set and meet writing goals. I provide feedback from an experienced writer who is monitoring and evaluating their writing progress. I help the writer to enhance their craft. CH:  I expect my clients to make a commitment to write on a regular basis. We will have contact daily, weekly or monthly. It all depends on what their needs are for finishing the book.

CH:  Of course, if they email me, I will send them A Writing Accountability Plan and if they return a completed plan, I will give them a $50 discount on the services.
